Anchoring Cable Lines in Non-Load Bearing Wall

Hi,
We have a non load bearing wall that we want to anchor your curtaincage into, will that be a problem?

Thanks,
Adam

—————————————————
Hi Adam,
That typically isn’t an issue. Non-load bearing just means the wall isn’t supporting the roof or other support structure above the wall. Anchoring the wall plates and connecting the cable lines will create horizontal pressure so that really isn’t affected by it being non-load bearing.

Thanks,
Cory
