Grand-Slam Nylon (with Foam Pad)

EXCELLENT GRADE / STEEL SPIKE-RESISTANT / INDOOR-OUTDOOR

All weather nylon baseball turf used primarily in commercial batting cage facilities.

Quick Facts:

• Steel spike-resistant
• UV-Inhibitors
• Face constructed with a very tough 1/2" / 40 oz. 100% Nylon
• 5mm 90 oz. urethane foam backing (water-proof)
• Total turf height with foam: .59"
• Available in either *Verde or Terra Cotta color (Terra Cotta is +.50 / sq ft) *
• Must specify color preference by emailing request at time of order referencing order ID - colors not guaranteed to be available. If no request is made, green color will be chosen based on quickest availability.

Pros:

• Steel spike-resistant
• Very tight / compact face - won't snag spikes
• Excellent abrasion-resistance - very durable face
• Foam pad creates great shock absorption during running
• Great for batting cages indoor or out
• Doesn't require grooming to "fluff"

Cons:

• Abrasive face can cause burns
• Not drilled for drainage (can easily be performed after installed using drill or steel poker)
• Not as dense/thick of face as Triple-Crown Nylon or Triple-Play Poly Deluxe

How to Order Custom Sizes:

To order custom sizes, access our 'Custom Sized Rolls' page (if you haven't already), select your turf model, determine your total square footage, and enter that number in the Qty box to check-out. Example) If your area is 70' x 12', you would need 840 sq ft.

Need a roll wider than 12 ft? Our shop can extend the width to any size needed for $3.50 / linear foot. See below for ordering instructions:

1) Add the number of square feet needed Ex) If you need a 70' x 15' roll, you will need a quantity of 1,050 sq ft.
2) Access our "Seaming Services" page via the links on the left, and enter the number of Linear Feet needed in the Qty box. Ex) If you need a 70' x 15' roll, this would require 70 Linear Feet of seaming.
3) Once you have all of your items added to your cart, click on the 'check-out' button.

All of our turf can be installed on dirt or glued down on concrete or asphalt. Each include UV-Inhibitors and include a 5-year limited warranty.
