The
Pro DOUBLE-LANE Kit
includes all of the hardware needed to suspend a double-lane batting cage with
a sliding divider curtain (netting not included). This creates an incredible
practice environment, opening an enourmous hitting area to eliminate the "tunnel
effect" experienced in traditional sized cages.
Our
Pro Kits are optimal for heavier batting cage nets spanning from wall to wall,
upwards of 100' without any center drop-cable support points. This is the same
system we use for our professional nationwide installations. It creates solid
cable lines for optimal support, and results in professional looking tunnels.
The adhesive combined with the extra durable 12"x12" steel plates (with 6 lag
points to disperse the tension) also gives the additional stability to insure
your plates are adhered tightly against your walls, mitigating safety risks.
Our
Double-Lane Wall CurtainCages include 6 linear cables which run the same height
as your net. The center lines attach to a single plate with multiple adjustable
tabs, which prevents the need to install individual plates for the curtain line.
The
cables attach to turn-buckles, which attach to eye-bolts or steel face plates,
which anchor into your wall or structure. Steel snaps attach the cable lines
to the top of your tunnel, creating a "curtain effect" - allowing your tunnel
to curtain to either side of your facility, "bungied" up against the wall, approximately
2-3' feet from the wall.
Bottom-Line:
A Wall CurtainCage results in less overall sag and has more of a "boxy"
look than a Ceiling CurtainCage, due to the net being attached directly to the
linear cables every 12-24". Just remember you will have cable which run overhead
at the same height as your net, unless you remove them each time. If you need
to maximize your over-head space, you will want to consider a Ceiling
CurtainCage or a Wind-Up
Winch CurtainCage.
