The Commercial Kit is optimal for heavier batting
cage nets spanning from wall to wall, upwards of 70'-80' without any center
drop-cable support points.
Our Ceiling CurtainCages include 3 linear cables which run just
under your ceiling trusses. Vertical cables attach from the linear cables to
the top of your tunnel. This allows the cables to slide like a curtain, from
one end of your facility to the other.
Bottom-Line: The benefits of the Ceiling Cable System over
the Wall Cable System is that it increases the height of the linear cables,
opening up your area for other activities, i.e. long-toss, football, volleyball
- or other activities that require open over-head space.

- (3) 80'L Rolls of 1/4" Aircraft Cable: Galvanized Coated (For horizontal
attachment)
- (350) ft of 1/8" Aircraft Cable: Galvanized Coated (Enough cable for (70)
5' vertical cables connecting to top of tunnel every 3' for 70'L cage)
- (15) 1.5" Eye Pulleys (To help cables slide smoother)
- (3) Turnbuckles: 9" x 5/8" Galvanized Steel (Installed on one end of each
cable)
- (6) Steel Wall Plates: 8" x 8" (spans plate across multiple blocks - prevents
need for back-side wall anchors)
- (24) 3" x 1/2" mason lags (4 per plate - disperses tension)
- (140) Steel Snap-hooks - Spring-loaded (For attaching from cable to top
of net)
- (140) 1/8" Cable Clamps (For securing ends of vertical cables)
- (12) 1/4" Cable-Clamps: Galvanized Steel (For securing ends of each horizontal
cable in 2 places)
TIP: Turn-buckles can be difficult to tension to max load
without certain tools/experience. Consider adding 3 turn-buckles to this kit
(link below) which will make installation easier, and reduce the chance of requiring
vertical drop cables to remove ceiling sag.
