Batting
Cage Net: We highly recommend using a high-quality net with this system.
#60 gauge is optimal for high-use environments, and for those who want a care-free
net which will last for years. Remember,
your net becomes your biggest asset & liability, because it receives all
of the abuse. You wouldn't put KIA rims on a Cadillac, would you?
It's also strongly
encouraged to increase the height of your net. The great part about this system
is you can set the level at any playable height - the only additional cost is
for the net. For a few hundred dollars you can transform your cage from a cramped
"tunnel effect" to an open-air cage, simulating game conditions. Many
clients upgrade to 16' or even 20'H. Get a custom size quote now using our Net
Calculator.
Installation:
Our Professional Installation crew based in Ohio can install this AirCage
in virtually ANY building. Don't make the mistake of attempting to save a few
hundred bucks for cheap help, which may be cheaper per hour but may take twice
as long overall -- in the end it's just not worth the liability. Review
pictures of our installation crew's previous
work - and review a list of some of our references, on our main AirCage
page. Just ask
for direct contacts.
How
long will this Batting Cage System last?
- If the cage
is treated well - meaning no one is permitted to hang on the net or frame,
& the motor is not abused with rapid start & stop activity, this system
will easily last 25+ years.
- The first item
you will need to replace is the net, which can have a life-span ranging from
1-15 years depending on the quality chosen, and usage.
- We recommend
regular inspections of this system (which should be done with any
overhead equipment), to ensure it's still secure. The frequency is dependent
on your level of use, but annual inspections are advised. Inspections are
not included in the cost, and we are not obligated to send reminders.
